From Monday, hairdressers will be allowed to open their doors to customers and cut their lockdown hair. People will be pleased to have more than just their hair cut again, according to The Gallery Hair and Beauty Salon owner Victoria Bennet. “The majority of our customers aren’t just customers, they’re friends as well,” said Victoria. “They come in and use you as a soundboard and we do give more of a personal service now. “People treat us as psychologists. It’s nice to have that relationship with people. “Quite a lot of our ladies are single and we can sometimes be the only person that they see that week, so its important for them to come in and see us and its important for us to see them, to make sure they’re okay.
