People will soon be able to show their face again during Corpus Christi City Council meetings.
The first meeting of next month, on June 8, residents can start attending City Council meetings at City Hall and speak during the public comment portion of the agenda, City Manager Peter Zanoni said Monday.
In-person public comment will also be allowed at other city meetings.
For more than a year, council meetings have been shut off for public attendance due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Residents in the meantime have had virtual options to either provide public comment through email or to call in during the meeting.
