CCSD Will Receive Nearly $2 Million In Reimbursements From Latest COVID Relief Bill

According to Superintendent, Dr. Casey Berlau, this is the fourth round of funds distributed to the school by either the state or federal government for COVID relief. Near the beginning of the pandemic, the district received $122,000 from the CARES Act, which was then used to purchase supplies to reduce the risk of transmission in the school, such as disinfectant, sanitation equipment, disposable face coverings and plexiglass shields. Berlau says this latest round of money will be utilized and spent differently than previous allocations.
