Kochi: In a shocking incident, a 42-year-old man allegedly starved his 80-year-old father to death after locking him up inside a room of their house in Mundakkayam town of Kerala’s Kottayam district. On Thursday, police took the accused into custody under IPC 304 (death by negligence) after the initial findings of elderly man’s post-mortem examination indicated that his internal organs had shrunk due to malnutrition.
