TriMet’s board on Wednesday unanimously approved a three-year contract with its union workforce, officially ending a stalemate that stretched on for more than a year-and-a-half and spanned a global pandemic, catastrophic wildfires and a massive snowstorm.
The arrangement includes raises retroactive to December 2019, a retooled apprenticeship program and tuition assistance for workers to add skills in their trades. The agreement runs through November 2022.

Jonathan VanBoskerck, a Disney fan who lives in North Las Vegas, Nevada, recently slammed Disney World and the Walt Disney Co. in a column, saying the “wokeness” of the company has made the theme park less enjoyable.
Social media did not take well to the column.
In his piece for The Orlando Sentinel, VanBoskerck specifically called out Disney’s decision to change its dress code to allow cast members to express themselves with their own hairstyles, tattoos and other forms of expression.
Another said, “

Miley Cyrus is the musical guest on the episode and fans are already apologizing to her for having to be on the same episode as
