GOODVIEW, Va. – A Bedford County man has been charged with ten counts of possession of child pornography, according to the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office.
Perry William “Bill” Rose, 70, of Goodview was arrested by investigators on the Southern Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, authorities said.
The Bedford County Sheriff’s Office and the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office are a part of the Southern Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

RUSTBURG, Va. – A year-long narcotics investigation ended in 31 people in Campbell County being indicted on 62 federal charges on Sunday.
The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office canine unit along with the Central Virginia Drug and Gang Task Force (CVDGTF) worked on “Operation Crystal Clear” together.
Authorities said more than 7,532 grams of methamphetamine, 227 grams of heroin and 688 grams of cocaine with a total estimated street value of $773,654 were seized during the investigation. 26 illegal firearms were also confiscated in Campbell County.
Campbell Co. searching for wanted man
Campbell County Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s help finding a man who’s wanted for multiple charges for failure to appear with underlying charges of abduction, and assault and battery of a family member. They say 33-year-old Joel Cory White of Evington ran away from Campbell County Sheriff’s deputies yesterday when approached near the Sprint Store on Timberlake Road. He is not considered dangerous; but authorities would like help finding him. Anyone with information on White’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office or Central Virginia Crimestoppers.

CAMPBELL COUNTY, Tenn.
UPDATE FRIDAY AFTERNOON: Donald Braden, 72, previously reported missing by the Campbell County Sheriff s Office, has been found.
Braden was found safe Friday afternoon in Lexington, KY., according to the Sheriff s Office. He d last been seen Wednesday.
