1903 - Tragedy strikes a large group of Polish travelers from Toledo when many of the group are run over by a locomotive in Detroit. Hundreds had been waiting on the tracks for a return train to Toledo when they were hit. Nine people are killed and scores injured.

1966 - WDHO TV, Channel 24, owned by Daniel H. Overmyer, begins broadcasting in Toledo. It is the city s third commercial TV station and later changes its call sign to WNWO-TV.

Thieves targeting vans at churches in Camden County, New Jersey

CAMDEN, New Jersey (WPVI) Police are looking for two thieves who are accused of stealing multiple vans from area churches in Camden County, New Jersey.
The pastor at Iglesias Pentecostal on 110 Marlton Pike in the City of Camden said the trouble began on January 18, when thieves tried to steal the church s van from a gated parking lot, but the battery was dead. But then the thieves came back. And they took out a battery from their car and tried to see if they could start it. They couldn t start it, said Pastor Daniel Roman.
