Camden nonprofits benefit from youth-oriented grants View Comments Several Camden-based nonprofits received grants this week to help them serve children, teens and young adults in the city. The Camden Education Fund s Youth-Serving Organization grants are geared toward programming for ages 3 to 18. A total of 21 organizations received grants ranging from $5,000 to $25,000 to support mentoring, mental health support, academic tutoring, enrichment and arts education. An additional 16 organizations received $5,000, including the Salvation Army Kroc Center, Mighty Writers, and the Center for Aquatic Sciences, Superior Arts Institute, Adolescent Achievers, and the DaeLight Foundation. Grantees will be offered assistance from a local accounting and consulting firm for continued development, fundraising, and guidance with budgeting, financial reporting, governance and federal reporting requirements.
