(GiG) has today signed a letter of intent with an established German facing iGaming operator, for the provision of GiG s iGaming platform technologies to power the company s new online casino. The agreement between GiG and the operator is based on a revenue share model and has a minimum duration of four years with expected launch in Q3 2021. The German facing operator is a privately owned company, which is managed by a team with vast experience and has achieved great success in the online casino space with several online casino brands. The operator was also one of the first operators to hold a local German Schleswig-Holstein license.

GiG Comply is tailored to cover market-specific legislation and advertising standards, ensuring Marathonbet meets compliance requirements in various territories. Betsson acquisitions push net profit close to SEK1bn in 2020 9th February 2021 | By Robert Fletcher Betsson posted net profit just short of SEK1bn (£86.8m/€98.9m/$119.6m) in 2020, after a series of new acquisitions in 2020 helped drive a year-on-year increase in revenue. Overall revenue for the 12 months to 31 December stood at SEK6.39bn, which was 23.5% more than the SEK5.17bn posted in the previous year. Betsson noted the impact of new acquisitions in the first three quarters of the year, including its purchase of Zecure Gaming Limited, the B2C subsidiary of Gaming Innovation Group (GiG), in April. The operator also said it felt the benefit of securing new licences in countries around the world, most recently in the province of Buenos Aires, with Betsson one of the first operators to gain approval in the Argentine capital province. The operator also launched in Kenya towards the end of 2020 through the Betsafe brand.

GiG scores multi-year platform deal

Based on a revenue share model, the agreement between GiG and the virtual operator has a 4-year minimum duration with an expected launch in the 4th quarter of this year.
