A SHOE left in his mum’s backyard was the pick-up spot for the clients of a young man dealing in the drug cannabis.
When police raided the Springfield home of Dylan Hewett they found him in possession of drug paraphernalia and $2000 in tainted cash.
Appearing before Ipswich District Court for sentence, Dylan Cordell Hewett, 24, pleaded guilty to carrying on the unlawful business of trafficking in the dangerous drug cannabis between October 9, 2019 and January 19, 2020.
He also pleaded guilty to charges of being in possession of drug utensils including scales; and being in possession of Australian currency ($2,020) suspected of being proceeds of a drug offence.

Then when the dad of seven moved to another suburb the homemade devices were set off there. However, police were swift to act and he was arrested and charged. When he went before Ipswich District Court for sentence the Crown prosecution withdrew 14 charges from the original indictment of 23 charges. Manly pleaded guilty to the nine remaining charges on a new indictment. The Crown prosecutor told the court that some residents felt terrified by the incidents, even considering moving their families when the explosive devices being found over six months.

A BORED teenager in lockup at the Brisbane juvenile detention centre caused chaos when he phoned a government department warning that a bomb was set to explode beneath a desk.
The Toowoomba office of Queensland Youth Justice was evacuated while emergency services and police carried out a search.
No explosive device was found with an Ipswich court hearing that the teenager was bored because of the lockdown due to COVID-19.
Now aged 16 years and 10 months, the teenager, a father of one toddler, pleaded guilty in the dock of Ipswich Children’s Court on Monday to the crime of committing a bomb hoax.
