STEUBEN TOWNSHIP, IN (WTVB) â A Coldwater man was injured late Friday afternoon in a three vehicle crash in Steuben County.
The Steuben County Sheriffâs Department it happened on northbound I-69 about two miles south of Angola.
According to the Sheriffâs Department initial investigation, a 2017 Kenworth bobtail tractor driven by 29 year old Nai Ye Koko of Troy, New York was following a 2010 Ford Econoline Van driven by 46 year old Nathan Hadfield of Coldwater when northbound traffic began to slow due to the high traffic volume combined with an upcoming lane restriction.
As traffic slowed, the Sheriffâs Department says Kokoâs vehicle collided with the back of Hadfieldâs vehicle due to following too closely and unsafe speed for the traffic conditions.
