A trial in a Hunt County capital murder case, which had been scheduled for jury selection later this month, has been postponed until early next year.
Brooke Ashley Craig has been charged with capital murder involving the shooting death of a Greenville child. Craig, 30, also faces lesser included counts of murder and manslaughter in connection with the Dec. 28, 2017 death of Kaden Green, 7.
Trial had been scheduled to start last September, but was reset as no jury trials being conducted at that time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The trial had been set for jury selection on May 14, but during a Tuesday morning hearing 196th District Court Judge Andrew Bench rescheduled the trial for January 17, 2022.
