The investment from GameAbove Mobility, a division of CapStone Holdings Inc., demonstrates a continued interest in partnering with established, innovative companies to create next-generation mobility solutions.
The investment will allow Local Motors to scale AV production as demand for level 3 autonomous vehicles continues to grow within campuses, city centers, and municipalities. The United Green, a national staffing agency based in Auburn Hills with solutions for the cannabis and hemp industries, has received a $2 million investment from Florida’s CapStone Holdings, a business incubator and investment group.
The investment is the latest by CapStone in established companies serving medical cannabis needs. Over the course of 2020, the cannabis industry added more than 77,000 jobs, according to Leafly, an online cannabis education platform. Cannabis is legalized for medical use in 35 states and Washington, D.C.
