Reshma Saujani, founder of Girls who Code, is asking President Biden and his team to pay mothers. The plan is for a monthly payment of $2400 to be paid to Mothers throughout the Pandemic for their hard work and also asks for paid family leave, pay equity, and childcare.
Saujani says It s time to put a dollar figure on our labor. Motherhood isn t a favor and its not a luxury. It s a job.
A lot of celebs are supporting the plan, like: Amy Schumer, Gabriella Union, Charlize Theron, and Eva Longoria.
