A gigantic marlin was recently caught in Hawaii.
According to BroBible, a 1,028-pound “Grander” blue marlin was caught by Angler Tara Thompson-Disnard and Captain Kevin Hiney near Kalaoa, Hawaii, and the photos are unreal.

Catching these fish is incredibly rare, but anglers Tara Thompson-Disnard and Captain Kevin Hiney accomplished something even more rare! The two anglers landed and weighed a massive 1,028-pound Blue Marlin aka ‘Grander’ fishing out of Honokohau Marina in Kalaoa, Hawaii. The two were aboard The Sundowner . Yes, that is the size of history s recorded dinosaurs!
To give you an idea of just how massive these fish can be, the IGFA All-Tackle Fishing World Record for Pacific Blue Marlin is a 1,376 lb 0 oz fish. The IGFA All-Tackle Fishing World Record for a Black Marlin weighed 1,560 lb 0 oz and was caught in Cabo Blanco, Peru in 1953.
