(KFVS) - A man is facing charges after a woman was stabbed on Cape La Croix Trail on Thursday evening, January 21. Joshua J. May, 35, of Sikeston, is being held at the Cape Girardeau Police Department on charges of armed criminal action and second-degree assault. His bond was set at $100,000 cash. According to police, the woman was stabbed around 5:20 p.m. at Cape La Croix Trail near the Blazin’ Car Wash in the 1300 block of Mt. Auburn.
