ASBURY PARK - A driver trying to park in front of a driving school on Main Street backed into the storefront of the brick building, narrowly missing one of the school s partners and injuring another man in the office, according one of the owners.
Police said it appears the man was trying to parallel park when he struck a curb and ran into the office of ML Driving School at 1014 Main St. The collision brought both police and city firefighters to the scene about 12:20 p.m. Monday.
The driver, who was the only one in the car, was at first stuck inside the vehicle, but he was removed uninjured, said Sgt. Michael Casey, spokesman for the Asbury Park Police Department.
