The Western Bulldogs continued their perfect start the season, beating Brisbane by 19 points in cold and windy conditions at Ballarat.
Adam Treloar (29 disposals and 10 tackles), Jack Macrae (32 disposals and eight tackles) and Josh Dunkley (27 disposals and eight tackles) worked tirelessly, while Tim English impressed with three goals.
The Bulldogs currently occupy top spot with four wins from as many games and Kane Cornes believes Luke Beveridgeâs side are more than capable of going all the way in 2021.
â81 tackles today (Saturday), and I love this from the Western Bulldogs,â Cornes told

Kane Cornes has recalled an unusual punishment for Port Adelaide players who turned up to the club in poor shape during his playing days.
After conceding the highest Grand Final margin of all time to Geelong in 2007, the Power players were sent to the Christmas break with a threat.
“We were given strict instructions, ‘if you are over your skinfold target when you come back, you will be severely financially sanctioned and you will be put in the fat club’,” Cornes recounted on
SEN SA Breakfast.

Criticisms for clubs on draft night are – for better or worse – always going to be around.
With North Melbourne essentially having Pick 4 (given Jamarra Ugle-Hagan was always going to be a Dog at Pick 1), most mock drafts had them tossing up between tall forward Logan McDonald, tall back Denver Grainger-Barrass, and midfielder Elijah Hollands.
With Ben Brown departing to Melbourne, Nick Larkey needed help and with Robbie Tarrant and the development of Ben McKay, DGB seemed unlikely and Hollands was a really highly rated young midfielder. But that glaring hole at centre half forward seemed too big and McDonald had played senior WAFL football.

âI said last year if Jarryd Lyons was still at Adelaide, heâd be in their top three best players â and I stand by that.
âThey (Crows) gave him away for a burnt pie and worse still Gold Coast gave him away for a cold burnt pie, and now heâs dominating Thursday night football for Brisbane.
âGoalkicker, tough, good ball user, and wins plenty of it. That was the case again last night (Thursday).
âThe fact that Gold Coast gave him away for free is absolutely astounding.â
