Three Shasta County supervisors face a second recall effort and have until May 7 to respond to the elections office.

REDDING, Calif. - A second attempt to recall the Shasta County supervisors is underway, according to Shasta County Clerk and Registrar of Voters, Cathy Darling Allen.
The recall targets supervisors Joe Chimenti, Leonard Moty and Mary Rickert.
On Friday, three proponents served by mail and filed with the Shasta County Elections Office their Notices of Intention to recall the supervisors.
Allen said the three supervisors have until May 7 to file an answer with the Shasta County Elections Office.
