A Dunkin manager has been released from jail on a $15,000 bond after an elderly customer died after being struck by a single punch.
Corey Pujols, 27, is said to have punched the 77-year-old customer after the man reportedly called him a racial slur in a Marathon Gas station in Tampa, Florida, on May 4, according to the
Tampa Bay Times.
Officers were alerted at about 1:30 p.m. and they found the victim was unconscious and bleeding from his head.

Paramedics then took him to Tampa General hospital where he was put in intensive care. He died two days later.

TAMPA, Fla. - The Dunkin Donuts on 50th Street in Tampa is where people usually get their morning coffee and snack. Sadly, it became part of a crime scene last week.
Investigators say Corey Pujols, a 27-year-old manager at the shop, got into an altercation with a 77-year-old man. They say the elderly customer went through the drive-thru window and was upset about the service.
Court records show he parked his car and took his complaint inside.
Now Pujols is facing aggravated manslaughter of a person older than 65.
Woman accused of second fatal drunk driving crash to stay jailed
The state asked that Jennifer Carvajal be held in jail pending trial. A defense attorney did not contest the request.
