Residents have tested positive for Covid-19 at Ochil Care Home on Ettrick Drive. Family members of residents living at the Oakbank home told the Courier that at least two residents have tested positive, however there may be more cases.

NHS Fife has confirmed that a total of six residents at Matthew Fyfe Care Home in Dunfermline have tested positive for coronavirus so far, and revealed there has been “loss of life” connected to the cluster. The exact figure has not been divulged for reasons of confidentiality but it is understood to be fewer than five.

A number of residents at Auchtermairnie Care Home in Kennoway have died after contracting the disease, with 11 residents and at least 22 staff and others linked to the home testing positive. NHS Fife would only confirm the number who have died is fewer than five, citing confidentiality reasons. Six people have now died in connection with an outbreak at Canmore Lodge Care Home in Dunfermline. A total of 102 people have now tested positive for Covid-19 – 44 residents and 58 staff – a rise on a previous update given on Thursday when there were 67 positive tests and a “small number” of deaths.

NHS Fife have confirmed in the last few minutes that six residents have died at Canmore Lodge Care home following an outbreak of 102 Covid-19 cases.  A total of 44 residents within the home have now tested positive for COVID-19 and 58 staff at Canmore Lodge Care Home have also been confirmed as positive for the virus. Last week, health officials confirmed there had been a cluster of cases at the Dunfermline home totaling 67 and a small number of deaths.  In a statement NHS Fife said: NHS Fife is issuing an update on a cluster of COVID-19 cases associated with Canmore Lodge Care Home in Dunfermline.

A total of 44 residents and 58 members of staff have tested positive at Canmore Lodge Care Home.
