Coca Cola Enterprises: Creating Opportunities to Attract Graduate Talent Coca-Cola Enterprises is the world’s third largest independent Coca-Cola bottler and the sole licensee for bottling in Great Britain, Luxemburg, Belgium, the Netherlands, Monaco, Norway, Sweden and Continental France. They got involved in the University of Kent s Employability Points Scheme to attract student talent through work placements. The Challenge The talent aquisition team were keen to promote their career opportunities to future graduates to influence their future talent pool.  The Approach Following a presentation for the University s Careers and Employability Service, CCE became involved in the Employability Points Scheme and sponsored two 2-week work experience placements in their business technology department in the summer of 2012.

Safety concerns over University of Kent s Eliot footpath in Canterbury after women grabbed Published: 06:00, 20 December 2020 A university is considering improving lighting along a campus footpath - after two young women were grabbed by a man in separate incidents. Students say they no longer feel safe walking along Eliot footpath, which cuts through an area of open countryside at the University of Kent in Canterbury (UKC). While the walkway itself is lit up, the vast surrounding area is plunged into darkness at night, which currently falls at about 4pm. On November 28, a young woman was grabbed by a man as she walked along the path at about 11.15pm.
