ALBANY – A Gloversville man has been indicted on federal methamphetamine and firearms-related charges, U.S. Attorneys officials said Friday.
Kent Tucker, 23, of Gloversville, was indicted Thursday on charges of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking.
Tucker is accused of possessing a Glock handgun stolen out of Gloversville and possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute, both on Aug. 21, officials said.
He’s also accused in an earlier complaint of throwing the stolen firearm while being arrested, officials said.

Kent Tucker, 23, of Gloversville, was indicted Thursday on charges of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm in the furtherance of drug trafficking.
The charges were announced in a joint press release issued by Acting U.S. Attorney Antoinette T. Bacon and John B. DeVito, special agent in charge of the state Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. The indictment alleges that Tucker on Aug. 21 was determined by authorities to be in possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and a Glock handgun stolen from a Gloversville firearms dealer.
