A proposed updated policy for Clear Lake High School athletes was enacted by the school board after much discussion over word choice and phrasing.
The Clear Lake Community Schools Board of Education discussed and enacted the proposed policy, which says high school students cannot play club sports at the same time as their school season, during a Tuesday night special meeting.

MASON CITY, Iowa - If you walk around the plaza facing the north entrance of Southbridge Mall, it s a much different scene from what it used to be.
The Principal Performing Arts Pavilion, which includes both indoor and outdoor spaces and will be the new home of the Mason City Municipal Band, is set to be completed in roughly two months time.
