LISBON An April 12 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set in county Municipal Court for Amberlina N. Gentsy, 26, Monaca, Pa., charged with felonious assault and failure to comply with a police officer, both felony charges, along with misdemeanor citations of OVI first offense, left of center and marked lanes. Gentsy allegedly continued on state Route 172 near Depot Road, going left of center nearly striking other drivers head on several times and nearly going off the roadway while fleeing from deputies on Saturday. She then reportedly struck the rear of a deputy’s cruiser that slowed in front of her at the intersection of state Route 154 and 45.

WELLSVILLE Some village drug dealers may have received an unlucky roll of the dice Thursday morning.
According to Wellsville Police Chief Ed Wilson, 11 of his officers executed a search warrant shortly after 11 a.m. in the 300 block of Riverside Avenue, culminating a two-week investigation into drug activity.

Arrests may be pending based on the receipt of Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) crime lab, he said.
