EVERYTHING DELICIOUS in the Bridport area was celebrated at a food market. The Love Food - Love Bridport Market went ahead at Millennium Green on Saturday, June 19 and was hailed as a great success by organisers. The market replaced the popular annual Bridport Food Festival event at Asker Meadows which was not able to go ahead this year due to the current restrictions. The free open-air market aimed to celebrate everything delicious in Bridport and the surrounding areas with more than 30 individual food and drink stalls. Kathy Dare, chairman of the Bridport Local Food Group, said: “We are delighted to say the ‘Love Food – Love Bridport’ was considered to be a great success by visitors, traders and ourselves.
