ROANOKE, Va. – Strengthening female business leaders in the local Latin American community, the Latinas Network is partnering with the Gauntlet business program and competition this year.
Kat Pascal, co-founder of the popular restaurant Farmburguesa, is also a former Gauntlet participant and is now using her business knowledge to help mentor others going through the program, especially those within the Latina community. She said it’s important for entrepreneurs to not feel alone in their journey.

ROANOKE, Va. – A new show that brings Latinas in our area into the spotlight is premiering this week.
“Let’s Talk” is a show recognizing individual Latina entrepreneurs and career professionals in the Roanoke and New River Valley area.
It’s created by Latinas Network, an organization founded by Kat Pascal, to help connect and support Latina entrepreneurs grow.
Pascal said with about 150 members in the organization so far, she wanted to broadcast their inspirational stories to a wider audience.
“We’re learning more about one another but we want everybody to learn about them,” Pascal said.
