Health providers CityHealth Urgent Care and Worksite Labs partnered with the airport to administer the tests at drive-through kiosks for people with appointments. Test results are given within 72 hours, according to airport officials.
The testing locations are located near the airport’s main entrance at 4100 Donald Douglas Drive.
The airport recently expanded three non-stop flights to Hawaii last week, one to Maui with Hawaiian Airlines and one each to Honolulu and Maui on Southwest Airlines.
Hawaiian health officials are currently exempting visitors and returning residents from quarantine if they obtain a negative pre-travel COVID-19 test result no more than 72 hours before their scheduled departure time.

Southwest is adding seven daily flights to its destination options including Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Maui, Reno and St. Louis. Hawaiian Airlines, which has flown daily to Honolulu since 2018, also will begin service to Maui’s Kahului Airport, according to a city release.
Hawaiian’s new flight to Maui will start service March 10 and Southwest’s new flights will begin daily operations March 11. Long Beach will be the only airport in the Los Angeles area that will offer service to Hawaii on Southwest.
“Our airport is a powerful economic asset for our city,” said Mayor Robert Garcia. “These new flights provide valuable connectivity for both our regional residents and travelers wanting to visit Southern California.”
