Kadapa: Gang Selling Ganja to College Students Arrested Jul 25, 2021, 12:06 IST
Andhra Pradesh Police caught around 260 kilograms of Ganja (cannabis) which was being illegally transported into the Kadapa district on Saturday. The police seized the material and arrested five people in connection with the case.
The police further added that they recovered one car, four cell phones and Rs 38,500 cash from the accused.
Kadapa Superintendent of Police (SP) KKN Anburajan said, the five persons who were arrested were identified as Ramu, Teja, Rangareddy, Neelakantheswar and K Nageswara Rao.
Anburajan said that the accused revealed that they have been selling Ganja to the college students in small packets for higher prices.

Kadapa (Andhra Pradesh) [India] July 24 (ANI): Around 260 kilograms of Ganja being illegally transported into Andhra Pradesh s Kadapa district on Friday was seized and five persons were arrested in connection with the case.
One car, four cell phones, and Rs 38,500 cash was recovered from the accused persons, said the police.
According to the police, the five persons who were arrested for illegally transporting the drug were identified as D Ramu, C Teja, S Rangareddy, K Neelakantheswar and K Nageswara Rao.
Kadapa Superintendent of Police (SP) KKN Anburajan informed reporters that during interrogation, the accused revealed that they have been selling Ganja to college students in small packets for higher prices.

No school from May 1 to 31 for Class X students

The Director of School Education has declared holidays for Class X students of all schools from May 1 to 31 in view of the surge in COVID-19 cases.
All Class X students in the district should prepare for their SSC public examinations at home, District Education Officer K. Nageswara Rao said in a statement here on Thursday, adding that students can visit their school from June 1 to 5 to take suggestions/guidance of their teachers. In the meantime, the teachers can guide their students through digital platforms if required, he said.
