I get it. Nobody enjoys watching heavyweights spending long amounts of time playing patty cake. Jairzinho Rozenstruik heard those complaints too and sharpened his footwork. There were still long periods of inactivity, but he also was far more effective in cutting off the cage and pushing Augusto Sakai where he wanted him with low kicks. It was a buzzer beating combination from Rozenstruik, catching Sakai with a left hook, then a powerful right to floor Sakai. A couple of heavy shots later and the fight was over right before time expired in the first. That put UFC Vegas 28 in the books.

To me, it is disrespectful of the SEC Conference to issue out awards this week with the word “CO-” before the word player of the week. So disrespectful that a Ladyback that led her team with 37 points to a huge upset of the undefeated, third ranked UConn Huskies.
The SEC also did this to the Razorback football team when it came to players like Bumper Pool, Joe Foucha, Grant Morgan and Jalen Catalon being named SEC Player of the Week.
Dear SEC:
Stop being petty and recognize Arkansas when it’s players are due. This past week Chelsea Dungee was due the accolades after a once in a lifetime performance against an elite opponent.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Redshirt senior guard Chelsea Dungee and Head Coach Mike Neighbors earned national recognition Monday after a historic week for Arkansas Women’s Basketball, as Dungee was named ESPN’s National Player of the Week, while Neighbors was named ESPN’s National Coach of the Week.
Dungee put on one of the greatest Razorback performances of all time, regardless of sport, Thursday night against UConn. She scored 37 points against the Huskies, the most by any player against them since the 1999-2000 season. She did so on an incredibly efficient line: 13-21 from the field, 4-5 from three and 7-10 from the free throw line.
