GRAND MOUND, Wash. A Thurston County Sheriff’s Office K9 who was shot twice in a police chase will undergo further surgery after one of the bullets was found near his spine, the sheriff s office announced on Thursday.
Arlo and a suspect were injured when they were struck by gunfire following a police pursuit near Grand Mound Wednesday night.

As of Tuesday morning, there were around 9 different streets in Kent with some level of standing water. Kent officials asked drivers to use alternate routes.
A portion of the parking lot and nearby field by Mill Creek Middle School in Kent was flooded. Other areas were even worse earlier in the day.
At the intersection of 81st and 196th Q13 News witnessed a semi getting stuck. A tow truck driver wading through almost waist-deep water had to help get the semi-truck out of there.

AMBER TOWNSHIP â Two Ludington people were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 7:20 a.m. Wednesday on U.S. 10 west of Dennis Road in Amber Township.
A 23-year-old Ludington man and his passenger, a 22-year-old Ludington woman, were transported to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital via Life EMS with non-life threatening injuries according to the Mason County Sheriffâs Office.
Deputies state the accident occurred when the vehicle the Ludington man was operating was out of control and spun into oncoming traffic, colliding with a vehicle being driven by a 38-year-old Branch man. He was not injured.
Deputies responded to a second two-vehicle crash Wednesday evening in Sherman Township.
