Vasco de Castro morreu na madrugada de domingo no Hospital Amadora Sintra, aos 85 anos. Apresento as minhas condolências à família do desenhador, ilustrador e caricaturista Vasco Castro, conhecido como Vasco , escreveu Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, numa nota publicada no sítio oficial da Presidência da República na Internet.
Nesta nota, refere-se que Vasco de Castro nasceu no concelho de Ferreira do Zêzere , no distrito de Santarém, cresceu em Vila Real e estudou em Lisboa, onde frequentou a tertúlia do Café Gelo e a boémia, mantendo uma militância associativa e política que o levou a participar na campanha presidencial de Humberto Delgado .

Coffee Ice Cream
½ oz freeze-dried coffee
pinch salt
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
Fill large bowl with ice water; place slightly smaller bowl over ice water and set aside. Heat water for double boiler to a simmer. In cup, with fork, stir coffee with just enough hot water to dilute. Add cocoa and stir until smooth.
