Concerns are growing over the operations of long-running low-cost IP agency Trademark Plus, with a rise in customer complaints in recent months. The company, which operates a number of sub-brands and “the number one affiliate program in trademarks”, has been accused by dozens of clients of being a “scam”, with one expert telling
WTR that the USPTO should investigate potentially problematic trademark entities.
According to historical data, Trademark Plus has been operating since at least 2011. Its website lists its headquarters as being in Texas (on Google, its office is located in Chicago) and claims to have served “over 100,000 happy customers” in “98,326 completed cases”.
