Columbia businesses cleaning up after flooding
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The intense rain Wednesday brought flooding to the Eastgate Plaza area off of East Broadway.
The UPS Store in the plaza suffered water damage during the storm and was forced to close early. On Thursday, Neville and Sons carpet cleaning and water damage restoration company was at the store.
Cleanup company owner Kevin Neville said it could take up to 10 days to get the store back to normal. We were able to go in and extract all of the standing water and now we ll wait for the landlord to decide what they want to do as far as tearing the carpet out and cutting into the walls to dry everything out, Neville said.
