GFP Announces Hunt for Habitat Winners
PIERRE, S.D. – The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Department (GFP) has announced the winners of the 2021 Hunt for Habitat raffle.
Part of Governor Noem’s Second Century Initiative, the Hunt for Habitat raffle supports habitat enhancements on public lands across South Dakota. This year, the raffle raised $329,920 to improve habitat in South Dakota. Since it’s first year in 2019, the raffle has raised over one million dollars and improved over 7,000 acres of public land.
“The Second Century Initiative ensures that South Dakota continues to be the best place in the world to hunt pheasants,” said Governor Noem. “Our ringnecks need quality habitat to thrive, and the Hunt for Habitat raffle helps make that a reality. Thanks to everyone who participated!”
