Intelligence, strength, perseverance, optimism, amiability, and sex. These words together can only describe one person.

At 10 years old, the woman we have come to know as sex therapist and television star Dr. Ruth was sent away to Switzerland through kindertransport. Because of this she not only was able to escape the Nazis, but she never saw her family again. This and a great deal more, actress Amy Griffin gets ready to share with audiences at the Music Theatre of Connecticut (MTC) in “Becoming Dr. Ruth.” The title functions for the actress as well as the subject for Griffin has researched her subject well in order to take on this one-woman role. For ninety minutes she will “become” Dr. Ruth on stage.
The Cowboys travel to Ames after a gutsy performance against No. 2 Baylor this past weekend, and as rough as the Pokes’ situation might seem, the Cyclones might have it worse.
Oklahoma State might still be without Cade Cunningham and Rondel Walker on Monday night against Iowa State, but the Cyclones haven’t even played a game since Jan. 9. Iowa State is also 0-5 in Big 12 play this season.
Here is everything you need to know ahead of Monday night’s game.
Picks: OSU -4
Marshall Scott: Cade or no Cade, I think OSU will be able to handle an Iowa State squad that hasn’t played since Jan. 9 and hasn’t won a game since Dec. 20. It looks like the Cyclones will also be shorthanded coming off their long pause, so give me OSU’s group of hustle guys with a cover.

NORWALK, CT - Music Theatre of Connecticut is presenting a live-stream of IT S A WONDERFUL LIFE A Live Radio Play, the third show of MTC s 34th season. The live presentation is presented on the MTC stage on Westport Avenue in Norwalk and runs through Dec. 20, 2020.
For me, it was wonderful to see (and hear) the live audience that were in attendance at the actual theatre watching along with the at-home audience; although I have sat in this theatre only once, it almost made me feel like I was there with this small but mighty audience who had traveled to the theatre in Norwalk. We at home could hear them talking before the curtain speech and were able to watch them be dismissed, or off-boarded in a specific order by an MTC staff member.
