Some of these pages served people in times of emergencies. Others were for front-line services. Others were a vital link for communities to get the information they need. And yet on Thursday morning, they’d all vanished in Australia.

Pride Houston revealed this year s nominees for grand marshal Friday with a virtual announcement.
Executive director Lo Moton Roberts led the announcement, which also highlighted the nominated themes for the 2021 Pride Houston celebration.
Theme nominations include the following:
#GameOver - This theme represents the fact that time is up for intolerance and hatred, and instead, the time is now to embrace all that we can, and make sure that every human is treated with the same respect and dignity.
Pride Unbound - This theme is designed to represent the manifestation of the hope for progress, celebrate healing the nation and honor all who have spoken their truth, past and present.

There is a lot of game content out there that’s morally degrading, and we wanted ‘DvG’ to tilt the scales more toward the wholesome and family-friendly,” concept creator of “DvG: Conquering Giants,” and former Hollywood visual effects artist Jarom Sidwell (“The Avengers,” “Avatar,” “The Hobbit”) told The Christin Post in an interview.

World-first techniques for predicting breast cancer risk from mammograms that were developed in Melbourne could revolutionise breast screening by allowing it to be tailored to women at minimal extra cost.
Published in the
International Journal of Cancer, the University of Melbourne-led study found two new mammogram-based measures of risk. When these measures are combined, they are more effective in stratifying women in terms of their risk of breast cancer than breast density and all the known genetic risk factors.
Researchers say if successfully adopted, their new measures could substantially improve screening, make it more effective in reducing mortality and less stressful for women, and therefore encourage more to be screened. They could also help address the problem of dense breasts.
