Family and friends of slain Birmingham Water Works employee Tyrone King pleaded for the 29-year-old worker’s killer to turn themselves in and for any witnesses in King’s unsolved murder to come forward during a vigil Wednesday near the spot where King was gunned down last week.
“I miss my son. I love my son very much. My son didn’t mess with nobody,” said King’s mother, Myra King, during the vigil at the BBVA Compass Bank parking lot on Montclair Road near Walmart, where King’s body was found inside a Birmingham Water Works truck Friday afternoon.
