Maria and Joseph Sawaged welcomed quadruplets at Methodist Women s Hospital in late April
Maria and Joseph Sawaged donât know what itâs like to have just one newborn at home.
First, the Omaha couple brought home two babies. And then a third. And finally a fourth.
In April, the Sawageds welcomed quadruplets, delivered via cesarean section, at Methodist Womenâs Hospital. Now, all four newborns â Luca, Julianna, Barrett and Tychus â are out of the neonatal intensive care unit and home with Mom and Dad. Theyâre the second set of quadruplets born in the state so far this year, according to data from the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.

If Priscila Medina had gotten COVID-19 a year ago, she would have had no treatments proven safe and effective to try.
At one point, Trevor Larson couldn t feed or dress himself.
He struggled to sit up on his own. And attempting to stand up left him breathless and exhausted.
Larson had to relearn basic skills after a bout with COVID-19 led to multisystem inflammatory syndrome in adults.Â
Now the 26-year-old Omahan is in physical therapy sessions three times a week. He s able to walk, hold planks and tackle other strength-building and cardio exercises. Anybody can get it, Larson said. I had no pre-existing conditions. I was very healthy, and it got me. Just take it seriously. Â
