CAMPAIGNERS have raised money for Royal Bolton Hospital to thank them for the care and support they have provided to their friends and family, following a coronavirus battle last year. Kelly Hulton, Sam Guest and Julie Fletcher have spent the last nine months raising funds for the hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU), amassing a grand total of £3,190. They achieved the amount by launching fundraisers and hosting raffles, distributing tickets far and wide. Kelly said: “These amazing people cared for mine and Sam’s dad, Kevin Baggaley, in 2018. It was the hardest and saddest time we have ever experienced. But the staff on ICU and high dependency unit fought so hard, trying every last option possible to keep our dad alive.
