There s a noticeable increase in the popularity and number of food trucks in Whanganui. Reporter Logan Tutty caught up with some owners to find out what attracted them to the food truck business. Ashleigh and Robert Dari opened their food truck Bula Bure in Majestic Square last October, and have had to start looking at how their time is allocated.
With five kids at home and two full-time jobs, the couple s success has seen them look at how they can expand their hours to accommodate their customers.

When Whanganui s Thain Building was destroyed by fire in 2019, it had a devastating effect on businesses in the bridge block of Victoria Ave so Mainstreet and Bayleys want to give them a boost this
