Gadoochi brewery co-owner Nicole McGilvray along with brewers Damon Milne and Kelly Robertson are hard at work on the expansion of their current micro-brewery in Invercargill.
Craft beer is set to be brewed in Invercargill’s CBD this September, with Gadoochi Brewery in the process of being re-assembled at the Tuatara café and bar. Nicola McGilvray, co-owner of Gadoochi alongside Chris Ellenden, said “Chris has already built breweries in Clyde and Dunedin. We thought it was time he had one of his own.” The duo have been brewing cider from their Roxburgh orchard for the past six years, and tapped into craft beer three years ago with a beer test kit. Alongside brewers Damon Milne, Kelly Robertson and Shaun Kirkpatrick, they’re hoping to create an upmarket destination venue.
