Tuesday, March 2, 2021 It s that time of year again when we raid the back of the cupboard in order to try and piece together a last minute literary-inspired outfit. Fear not. Help is at hand to take away the stress of the homeschool dress-up day. Falling on Thursday 4 March this year, schools will still be closed due to lockdown restrictions but dressing up is still on the cards.  Celebrated in over 100 countries, the idea was created by Unesco in April 1995 to celebrate the beauty of books for children and to highlight how important it is “to promote reading for pleasure, offering every child and young person the opportunity to have a book of their own”.
