CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston Gaillard Center says they are offering a virtual education program called, “Setting the Stage.”
While lights have gone out at most performance halls across the country, The Gaillard in Charleston is pivoting its efforts to ensure they can provide the same entertainment and education they did before the pandemic struck.
The new “Setting the Stage” program includes eight videos followed by a lesson plan where students can follow along in a classroom, at home, or with family.
Representatives say they want to keep the tens of thousands of students who normally visit on field trips every year just as interested in the performing arts.
