Concern over small but steady rise of Covid-19 cases in Inverurie Health bosses in Grampian say they are concerned about a small but steady rise in coronavirus cases in the Inverurie area.
Ten cases were recorded in Aberdeenshire yesterday - double that of Aberdeen - while none were registered in Moray, which is under level three coronavirus restrictions.
Testing capacity is now being ramped up.
A statement from NHS Grampian said: There would seem to be a small but steady increase in positive Covid cases around Inverurie. We all want to nip this in the bud now. One in three people with Covid-19 don t show any symptoms, which is why widespread community testing is so important.
