Heaviest snowfall for viewing area since February 5-6, 2014.
Deepest snow pack in the area since February 14, 2014.
Biggest winter storm for the state of Indiana since January 5-6, 2014 or February 5-6, 2014 (sort of a toss-up).
Snowfall totals ran 6-11.5 over the area.
Highest totals were in the south in a band from southeast Champaign County Illinois through Fountain, Montgomery, southern Tippecanoe, Clinton, Tipton to Howard counties where most of the 11-11.5 amounts were reported. 10.5 reports occurred as far north as Flora & Peru. The lowest reports of 6-7 were in western Benton & also parts of northwestern Newton & Jasper counties.
Bitterly cold this morning & through today..snow ahead in the forecast.

Overall snowfall Saturday evening-early night ran from a dusting in our far east & southeast to 2.7 in Newton County.
I measured about 1 . Highest total was west of Brook with 2.7 . 2 was reported by Jim at Kentland. Mary Ann in Remington measured 1.5 . This was part of the band of heavier snow with to 3 in Iroqouis through Livingston & Woodford counties in Illinois.
Tim in Veedersburg measured 1.5 snow, but Randy in Frankfort had 0.5 . John in Fowler had 1.7 . CoCo observer in Denver measured 1 & 1 was measured at Kewanna.
KENTLAND — A Goodland teen passed away from his injuries suffered during a fiery two-vehicle crash on US 41 at CR 1700S (1 mile south of Kentland) Feb. 3.
