City police went to the 200 block of Capen Street Tuesday around 8:04 p.m. in response to a ShotSpotter activation, Lt. Aaron Boisvert wrote in a release. “Upon arrival, a victim was located suffering from a gunshot wound in the area of Capen Street at Enfield Street,” Boisvert wrote. “The victim, a male in his fifties, was alert and conscious on scene. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment. It is unknown at this point what led up to the shooting.”
