AS lockdown restrictions ease and more people go out again, residents in Bicester have noticed litter returning in the town. KFC packaging was left on the wall of a property in North Bicester last week, leaving a resident - who has asked not be named - frustrated. They said:“We are all pleased with the easing of lockdown, it means we can get back to some normality. To our area of North Bicester, it is the daily joy of picking up litter in our street. “Having two takeaways in the vicinity, it is cola and beer cans, pizza boxes, chips and papers all over the pavements and in the gardens.

It’s so lovely to be out and about again, eating at places where I haven’t had to do the cooking! Outside and big coats is very much the situation at the moment, and pavements, gardens and terraces are busy with happy customers – it’s so great to see!
I booked a table at JJAM in the pretty courtyard at the Osprey shop on Woodcock Hill, Coopers Green Lane. There has been a nice café there for a few years, but this is a new concept with a new team, with brunch, sharing boards, lunches, teas, coffees, bakes and a decent wine list – perfect if you are shopping there.
Questioners at a Jan. 28 online public engagement session about the Coopers Green Hall replacement project in Halfmoon Bay wanted to know about financing, the effect on property taxes, and the fate. . .
