Morgan Sindall has smashed its pre-pandemic revenue, profit and cash levels in the first half of 2021.
Strong recovery from the pandemic coupled with significant margin improvement across its major divisions helped the group post a strong set of results for the six months to 30 June 2021.
Pre-tax profit stood at £54.1m, which was more than triple the £16m it reported last year when trading had been badly affected by the pandemic. But its profit level was also significantly up on the £36.7m it reported in 2019.
Group revenue was £1.56bn, well ahead of its 2020 level and higher than the £1.42bn it reported in 2019, which had been a record year for the contractor.
