The Daily Reporter Branch County Commissioners will have its auditors review the figures on a study by Aspen Wireless that gave them a detailed proposal for providing countywide internet service. Branch County Administrator Bud Norman said the review, “is important to us when we move into this year with American Rescue Plan funding.” Norman already has $4.2 million more in the bank, with an equal amount coming next year as the county’s share of the $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package, the ARP.   It is clear those funds can be used for water, sewer and broadband infrastructure, along with other services related to the pandemic.
